Public Libraries in Smart Cities and Communities Toolbox

Overview of Programs and Services

You have probably already set the foundation for your contribution to your smart city/community by investing in digital inclusion initiatives, which are key in the development of smart citizens, such as providing access to technology and training your patrons in its use.

But you can also advance your contribution to the development of your smart city/community by offering new programs and services that may strengthen your role in the development of smart citizens as well as enable citizen participation and provide an innovation environment. In this section you will find examples of several programs that may help you do so.
